It’s hard to believe that May 23, 2020 will mark 10 years since the finale of LOST aired. As we’re gearing up for LOST 2020, I knew I wanted to do an official LOST rewatch as part of my prep. I’ve tried to do this for our previous events, but it always ends up that doing prep for the event overtakes my ability to binge watch all six seasons of the show. I end up watching three seasons and then several other important episodes.
Plus I wanted to have the time to jot some thoughts on the episodes this go-round. In my non-LOST event life, I used to make websites for shows I loved and one of the things I enjoyed most was writing episode reviews. While this will clearly be different, since we’re 13+ years on since the pilot aired (!!) – it’ll be fun to reflect back on the episodes as I watch them. And to open up the comments section of the website or social media for discussion.
Instead of binge watching – which believe me, I LOVE to do – I’m going to try really, REALLY hard to only do one episode a week. Unless it’s a two part season opener or finale, like the Pilot and Exodus.
With May 23, 2020 being when the viewing of The End would take place – that makes April 15, 2018 the day I’ll be watching The Pilot.
Hope you’ll join me each week as I watch an episode (and try really hard to do just one) and share my thoughts here. Look forward to getting LOST with you all everybody each week. Until The End.
